To change the color of your home screen, go to Settings on your Home Screen.  The color of the text for the ‘***** TMC – Pilot *****’ at the top is pulled from your favorite color, so you will need to change that to get the clor to change where you can read it easily.

Click on the Colors menu on the left, then under favorite color, use the drop down to the right to select a color.  Since the background is dark, you will want to select a light color here, or White.  To select White, you might need to go to the ‘Advanced’ button at the bottom.

For White, set all of the colors as well as the Alpha levels to 255.  Click OK afterwards.  Then be sure to click the Save icon in settings, so it saves all of the changes you have just made

Now your home screen will look similar to this.  If one of the Icons on the screen is white, and you want to change it, right click the icon, and the menu at the bottom will open. You can then click the wrench on the right hand side, and it will allow you to change the icon color to what you would like it to be.
