Issue


In the Job Tracker, Labor Transaction shows clock in date differs to payroll date. Once the Inv/WIP Report printed the apply date is showing as the payroll date which is backdated.

Resolution


Payroll Date does not match with Clock In Date for Labor Transaction is common when the employee who clocked in to the MES and never clocks out. 

As for this case, the employeeID SAFRAMES might have clocked in to the system on 17/04/2019 and never clocks out after that. 
So even though the employee has clock in again for other job after that date, the payroll/apply date still consider as 17/04/2019 instead of the clock in date. 
Hence in the Job tracker and Inv/WIP report, you can see that the Labor Transaction has Payroll/Apply date on 17/04/2019 and System Date on 30/05/2019 

i.e. 
Apply Date 
17/04/2019 

To correct this, if this labor transaction is not yet posted to GL, recall this in Time and Expense Entry and change the Payroll Date. 

1. Go to Time and Expense Entry in Job Management or Time Management 
2. Go back to the Payroll Date so you can see all the labor transaction on this date which is not correct 
3. On the Daily Time Detail tab click on the Recall button, go to Summary Tab and change Payroll Date using Change Date button 
4. Once done, go back to the correct date that you have change it to 
5. Note that the payroll date is now correct 
6. Click submit button once verified
