To add salespeople in Epicor, they will need to be added to Work Force.

  1. Open Work Force 
  2. The salesperson needs to be assigned a work force id, which normally is their employee number.  This is the reason this is normally an HR function to maintain.
  3. Once you create their Work Force ID, you can try to see if they are already in the system as a contact by doing a Person / Contact search.  If you find them, you can just choose the record and link them to the work force entry.
  4. Once you select or create the actual work force entry, you will need to assign the Role in the dropdown.  If a role is not available that fits the users actual company role, it may need to be added to the list.
