Screenly Add Slides Instructions:


You can use the Following formats to upload onto the Screenly/Anthias  Digital Signage system. Any format outside these compatible formats will need to be converted or remade into a compatible slide format,


- PDF's:  Could be exported PDFs from any system. 

- URL Links: You could copy a public URL from a website or hosting service and add as a slide

- MP4: Video formats such as MP4 are compatible.

- JPG: Jpeg or JPG photos are compatible (Instructions on exporting slides into JPG from PowerPoint below) 


PowerPoint Slides Export to PDF:

  • You will need to export the powerpoint slides into a jpeg format onto a folder of choice, preferably on your Desktop. This folder will store any future exported slides from PowerPoint ready to be uploaded onto Screenly.

 

 

  1. Save a single slide or you can save all slides at a later option. Select File on top left corner.

 

 

  1. Select the option to Export and select Change File Type.

 

  1. Select Change file type to Jpeg file interchange then select the Save AS option. Select a location to save the converted exported slides.

  1. Select if you want to export all slides or the slide selected only:

                

  1. If all slides are exported you should receive a completion prompt as successful and destination folder:

Uploading Slides onto Screenly: Use any browser to go to:

  1. Add Assets which include videos, pictures or URLs:

 

 

 

  1. Add Files by dragging or selecting the Add Files option:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. After you add the new files you will notice they are added to the inactive Assets list, all you need to do is to flip the OFF tile to ON:

 

 

  1. The files will be added to the Active Assets list and should be ready to display:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. If wanting to configure settings to the slides such as the Start, End, and Duration times select the Edit option on the specific slide.
