There are 2 methods of changing the Epicor Password, one when you are already logged into Epicor (1), but you will have to know your current password.  The second method (2) is after you have requested an Epicor password reset through a helpdesk ticket.

Within Epicor, go to the Home Screen (Click the House icon at the top of the screen

Click on the Settings icon on your desktop 

Now click the Change Password option

Now enter your old password, and your new password twice, then click the OK button, and your password should now be changed.

The main method of changing your Epicor Password is when you first login, you will be prompted to change your password.  You have 3 times to do this before your account will be locked out and you will have to submit a new request to change your Epicor password, so do NOT ignore this dialog.

You should have been sent a random password in your email.  Use this password to log in to Epicor immediately.

You will use that temporary password to login to Epicor.  You will then get a password expired box.  ALWAYS answer this box with yes.

You will then have to enter the temporary password, as well as a new password twice to change your password.  Password requirements are 8 characters, and 3 of the following categories (Upper Case, Lower Case, Numbers, Special Characters)

Click the OK button, and your password should then be changed, as long as it meets the complexity requirements.  if Epicor starts up, you were successful.  If Epicor throws an error message, you were NOT successful in changing your password.  Fix whatever the error message says was the problem, nad then re-submit the change.
