New iPhone Cellphone Setup
Open the contents of the box in which the cellphone was shipped. You should have received a Cellphone, Case cover, and a charging cable. If any of these items are missing please contact the IT dept at helpdesk@versalift.com. You will be guided to run the initial steps on your cellphone upon powering on your device. Skip to "Setting Up Your New iPhone", if this is a new line to you and not a cellphone change/upgrade request.
Backing Up Your Old iPhone
Before you proceed you will need to do an iCloud backup of your current iPhone to restore onto the new device. If you back up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you'll have a copy of your information to use in case your device is ever replaced, lost, or damaged.
- Connect your device to your Wi-fi Network.
- Go to Settings > [your name], and tap iCloud.
- Tap iCloud Backup.
- Tap Back Up Now. Stay connected to your Wi-Fi network until the process ends. Under Back Up Now, you'll see the date and time of your last backup. If you get an alert that you don't have enough iCloud storage space to complete the backup, follow the onscreen steps to buy more
Setting Up Your New iPhone
- Turn on your device and select English as the preferred language.
2. Activate your device
You need to connect to a Wi-Fi network, a cellular network, or iTunes to activate and continue setting up your device. Tap the Wi-Fi network that you want to use or select a different option.
"Your mailed in package will include a paper with a Verizon phone number which you will need to call to activate and transfer your cellular line, 877-807-4646 and press 1. Follow the instructions provided by the automated voice prompt. Once your line has been transferred successfully you can proceed with finishing the setup of your new iPhone".
3. Remote Management: Sign User in with their O365 Company account to register device.
4. Create New Apple ID on Cellphone or Web.
5. Install Company Portal (If not automatically installed on your cellphone, use the App store to install application)> Setup company portal with users domain/email account > guided Install > VPN profile install > choose department > checking policy compliance > Makes user change passcode > Install available apps

Sign into the Company Portal to begin installing the basic apps needed for production.
- Give your new iPhone several minutes to download and restore the data from your iCloud Backup. You will need to look for an application called Comp Portal and sign in using your company O365 email and password (Not same as apple ID).
- After you open the Comp Portal App you will want to sign in with your email address and your company password. Follow the instructions to install the requirement profile if needed. The application will guide you step by step.
- When you log in you will see the applications available to install. Outlook will automatically install and setup your email account for you.
Next Step will be install Microsoft Authenticator
If you are not able to see a required mobile application from the company portal, you should be able to download the application directly from the App store of the cellular manufacturer. If you have an iPhone you will use the App store and if you have an Android this would be the google play store.

Outlook Tips upon installing on your cellphone:
To disable Focused Inbox, tap Inbox (or swipe right on the screen) and then click the Settings gear icon.

Scroll down to Focused Inbox and toggle it off.
Syncing your Contacts Onto your new iPhone
- Open up the Outlook application on your phone. It'll open up to your inbox. Click your user icon at the top left.
2. Click the gear icon at the bottom left of the screen.
3. Click on your Office 365 account.
4. Click the Sync Contacts option and let your contacts download to your phone.
