How to Use the Custom Manual application to create and print a custom manual

#  Instructions

1  Click “Custom Manual” application icon on the desktop.

Note: this icon is deployed to specific user’s desktops.

if you do not have the icon contact the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@versalift.com so it can be added 

for you.

2  The Custom Manuals Selection Screen displays

A  Search by Job # or Serial #:

•  To search by Job #: Click radio button for “J”

•  To search by Serial #: Click radio button “S” and enter the Serial #

B  Enter a valid Job # or Serial # (based on your section above).

C  Click [Load Data]. This will bring in the data for the manual from the job # or serial # you 

entered in ‘b’. [Verify] button will be available once it’s ready.

D  Click [Verify]. This will verify the data for all parts including lot tracked

E  Click [Generate Manual]. This will prepare the .pdf, save a copy to the share

drive and print the manual.
