A lot of times you will want a specific shortcut to always open in a particular company or site in Epicor. To accomplish this follow these instructions:
- Do a menu search for the particular screen / function you want to add as a favorite within a specific company
- Right click on the menu item, which will place a check mark next to the item, and also open up a menu at the bottom of your screen.
- Click on the Icon with the stars, which is 'Add to Favorites'
- This will popup the following menu, where you can choose what tile toi place the favorite in, or make a new one to place it in
- The drop down at the top will let you choose the Company and Site that you want to open this particular menu item in.
- Once you choose the company, you can either choose an existing tile, or make a new faviorites tile to place it in
- Click the save icon at the bottom right of the box to save
- Once you save it, you can find it on your Epicor Home Screen
- If you right click the new icon, it will open up a menu at the bottom right of the Epicor screen to Edit or Delete the favorite entry
- Click the wrench icon to edit the favorite. This will allow you to rename the favorite, or change the Company / Site it opens up.
- Click the Save icon to save the new settings.
- I normally save different companies icons in a Tile group to keep them separate, but you do not have to do this the same way.
